Fire alarm & security installation. In this instance, an integrated system was desired by the customer that combined the fire alarm & security systems, and was then monitored by their building management system. As the customer is the federal government…they get what they want! This location is in a rather remote part of Nye County Nevada.

Fire alarm installation. Of interest is the self-adjusting beam detector protecting the front lobby, greatly simplifying the installation & maintenance. Located in Henderson, Nevada.

Fire alarm & access control installation. Of special note are the advanced reporting and control features desired and implemented for the access control system. Located in northern Las Vegas, Nevada.

Fire alarm installation. This existing two-story medical office building received not only a retrofit fire alarm system but also a retrofit fire sprinkler system. Minimizing impact on the tenants was paramount. Located in western Las Vegas, Nevada.

Fire alarm retrofit. AMFES successfully negotiated with the LVFD to avoid the need for a costly fire sprinkler installation for this existing building. Located in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada.

It’s taken a lot of time and frustration – but finally, the Mircom FX-2000 is now UUKL listed! This means Underwriters’ Laboratories [UL] has approved the FX-2000 for use in high-rise buildings as a dedicated smoke control panel. In plain english – there’s no building too large for the FX-2000 anymore!

This project entailed an extensive retrofit, performed on behalf of Simplex Time Recorder Co. Although no AMFES devices were utilized, the Simplex devices functioned admirably when combined with AMFES’ installation know-how.
