Our firefighters sleep soundly knowing their stations
are protected by Mircom FA-1000 systems. Unless of course they get the
call over the Quam / Atlas paging system. And the Hubbell premise wiring
supports their phones and computers.
June 30, 2004 - New e-mail server!
This may not be as exciting to you as it was to us -
but the dramatic change in junk e-mail we receive is nothing short of
astonishing. The one drawback is that because our new e-mail server
requires everybody else to be properly configured - it's been amazing how many
companies have improperly configured internet sites!
April 21, 2003 - We Finished Moving!
This was an experience we could have done without -
but we're through it! Our phones are working, our address has been
posted, and we even have started receiving mail. Our sincerest apologies
to any of our customers who found it difficult to reach us - it certainly
wasn't OUR idea!
April 1, 2003 - We Moved!
It finally happened. We've relocated to our new
location - strategically placed to allow superior access to both our local
vendors and our major customers. We also doubled our usable space!

products!
Using the Compass product line, access control
systems of any size, utilizing any new or existing reader technology, are now
easily installed.

system. A Mircom FA-1000 panel sits proudly behind the main bar.
November 27, 2000 - U.S. Post Office
A Mircom FA-1000 panel is just right for a panel

Having completed the first store successfully, AMFES
now shines on a second installation.

April 6, 2000 - Community College of Southern Nevada
- Child Development Lab
A small fire alarm system installed for a child care

maintenance costs and concerns, a complete fire alarm system was installed,
instead of a smaller system with independent smoke detectors.
February 3, 2000 - Las Vegas City Hall
On behalf of Mosler, AMFES performed a simple access
control installation and integrated it with the existing system. Of
course, while only a few components needed to be added, the nearest point of
connection was quite a distance away . . . .
January 10, 2000 - Vons Grocery Store

A complete fire alarm system, as mandated by the fire
department, was installed in this casino.

Rancho Rehabilitation
Again the Secutron MR-2400 was utilized in a
healthcare environment. This time, while only in a single story
building, the area to be protected was substantial. In addition, due to
occupancy requirements, chime/strobes were utilized to allow less startling
notification. Of course, trying to retrofit 3-1/2" deep devices in
4" deep existing walls, without damaging the walls, presented its own set
of challenges. Once again, AMFES rose to the occasion.
December 13, 1999 - Nye County School District -
Amargosa School
Utilizing the advanced capabilities of the Secutron

while re-using the existing wire - resulting in substantial savings to the
NCSD.
November 15, 1999 - Community College of Southern
Nevada
AMFES provided several upgrades to the various CCSN
campuses (campusi?) at this time. Several aging panels were replaced,
and the systems brought into compliance with modern codes.
October 19, 1999 - University Medical Center
Administration Upgrades
Several small and one large addition to the fire
alarm system were completed during this time. These projects involved
some rather complicated conduit work, and careful coordination with the
hospital staff to avoid interfering with their normal operation.
August 4, 1999 - Collins Business Park
An office complex, requiring fire alarm and an
independent security system for each suite.

various contractors and government agencies involved. Despite some
extraordinary challenges, AMFES succeeded in completing this installation on
time, and to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
July 21, 1999 - University Medical Center Outpatient
Clinic
This two-story building was AMFES' first medical
facility. AMFES created a complete system design to complement a

Another small installation performed as a
subcontractor to Simplex.

This project entailed an extensive retrofit,
performed on behalf of Simplex Time Recorder Co. Although no AMFES
